Couple’s Perfect Getaway

The outdoor pool was heated and I can't tell you how much I loved spending time there every single day, just soaking in the fine surroundings under that crisp mountain air. When we did our wine tasting, the sommelier shared very nice stories about the local vineyards that made every sip feel special.

It wasn’t inexpensive,,, but once you're there, you know it’s worth it.

Simply put, this property is a paradise in the mountains, surrounded by vineyards and apple orchards. The rooms are luxurious and incredibly well-appointed, the restaurants are impeccable, and the staff caters to your every whim. I can't wait to go back!

All Pros, no Cons (or vice versa)

The room was spacious and provided a lovely seating area with a gorgeous balcony, while the breakfast selection was abundant and delightful to kickstart the day.

Yet, the pool facilities felt outdated and cold, which left much to be desired for those hoping to unwind by the water.

The standout aspect of my stay at Castel Fragsburg was definitely the breathtaking views. I could barely tear my eyes away from the stunning scenery as I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Speaking of breakfast, the spread was impressive with a great variety, especially the freshly baked breads and handcrafted pastries. I also loved the special touch with complimentary apples in the dining area—such a delightful detail! The room I stayed in was the Deluxe Suite. it featured a cozy sitting area and a lovely balcony that made for a perfect relaxation spot. However, there were some notable issues. The WiFi connection was quite inconsistent at times, which was frustrating. The pool area, while lovely, could use a bit of updating to enhance relaxation. Staff service was mostly attentive, but some minor inconsistencies did pop up throughout my stay. Overall, it was a charming hotel with a lot to offer, but attention to these issues would elevate the experience significantly.

The electric mountain bikes were a blast for exploring the surroundings, and the spa was great with natural products!

The scenery is breathtaking, and the kids loved the outdoor pool and the nearby hiking trails. We even enjoyed a game of golf during our stay! The staff treated our dogs with such kindness, making us feel right at home.

My kids wished for more organized activities specifically for children.

A commendable fit for a short stay in Merano with good value for price. The flowers throughout the hotel really brightened the place. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful arrangement in the dining area.

This place suits me perfectly! The outdoor swimming pool, spa treatments, and delicious restaurant cater to all my needs. I fondly remember how the staff treated my elderly parents with such kindness. I highly recommend lounging by the pool on a sunny day. I'm coming back for a romantic escape.
